Mason looks like what he is: a short freshman boy. Just looking at him, his whole being seems to scream out ‘wrestler kid’. Even though he had a few growth spurts to go through, it is evident that he works out. He has well defined looking muscles in his shoulders, chest and legs, where as his waist tapers steeply at his lower ribs. His toffee-brown eyes burn with the passion of a dedicated athlete or a warrior held in check.
He likes to keep his hair reasonably shaggy in nature- a little long at the back and the front. Because he likes the look, he often has a little brown high-light tint to his hair, starting at his crown spreading through his hair as each strand gets longer. Most find him to be a little grim at times. He is aware of this fault and tries hard to smile more.

body type
Mason's body is like a compressed spring- hard and full of pent up energy. He has a lean wiry body of a competitive athlete and it is obvious he looks after himself. Hard rubbery long plates of muscle cover his body, being particularly toned in the legs and arms. His waist seemed to plunge steeply inward to his hips under his lower ribs, which accentuates the toned nature of his shoulders and chest. Clearly he has a few growth spurts to go through yet.
clothing style
Usually he can be seen around campus wearing his school uniform. He is obviously isn't used to wearing one and is often looking uncomfortable as a result. It is not unusual to see him with his tie worn askew or his waistcoat undone.
More often then not he will be seen outside school hours wearing athletic clothing. Usually this means a hoodie, t-shirt and flannel tracksuit pants and running shoes (he is often seen running/working out a lot). Sometimes he will wear gym shorts instead of tracksuit pants.
Other times he will wear an ordinary t-shirt and jeans, with his favorite non-sport sneakers.

Determined: Mason has a drive deep within him that burns like the fire in the belly of a steam engine that drives him forward. It shows not only in his face, but also in his eyes that shines fiercely when confronted by a challenge. He is used to facing adversity in the pursuit of his goals in life and his day to day life in general. It is hard for him to back down or give up when confronted by what seems unsurmountable obstacles.
Feisty: Being pushed around is not something that Mason takes lying down easily. Deep down he has always been a ‘little warrior’ and isn’t afraid to stand up for himself. Being stood over is guaranteed to fire him up and make him a ‘yappy little mutt’ at times. Indeed, if his tormentor is the ‘Big Bad Wolf’ of legend, he is the ‘Little White Rabbit’ waving a baseball bat at him. For some people if it infuriating that he would DARE to stand up for himself, whilst to others it is endearing if they respect kids with a backbone.
Friendly Don’t let the ‘yappy little mute/hard-core scrapper’ persona fool you. Mason is friendly by nature once he and other people get to know him. He will try to get to know someone who he gets a good vibe off and with whom he develops a rapport. If they have something in common or an interest in the same thing, he will delight in getting to know him. Certainly he needs to socialize more with people outside of his sport interest and see there is more to life than wrestling (what, Mason has not much idea). He is the sort of kid who will worry when his friends look troubled or are unhappy. Regardless of who they are, he holds them very dear to his heart.

biography
Mason was a born and bred native of Vancouver BC until his family moved to Wisteria. As a little kid Mason always seemed to have more energy than he should have and was everywhere and anywhere if people didn’t keep an eye on him. He was the sort of kid growing up that loved to explore the world about him- and the people in it. Being so adventurous meant that he could be a handful for some people to control or keep an eye on.
Figuring he needed something to burn off his excess energy, his parents enrolled him in a number of community sports programs. After trying a few sports, he found he loved- and only wanted to do, wrestling. It wasn’t easy for him at first starting out. Getting dropped on his butt and having to training with slighter bigger and more experienced kids was hard for him. But, being as determined as he was, he kept at it. Finally, after a while he got a lot better and started to enjoy it more and more. Soon he was getting better and better at wrestling. Problem was it didn’t burn off his excess energy- it just increased as his general fitness improved. Not that it was a bad thing. His dedication to his sport meant that he was training and working out more and more, so there was less chance to get into trouble (not that it didn’t happen from time to time).
His dad had a successful career with the Vancouver City Council as a Civil Engineer. Mason isn’t sure if he wants to follow in his dad’s footsteps at the moment- he is only 15 years old after all. Still he has a budding interest in what his dad does for a job and follows what he does with interest.
It was in application of a better promotion (but not pay), his dad shifted the family to Wisteria to work for the city council. So far it has been a big change from Vancouver for Mason, but he is doing he best he can. Certainly there seems to be more chances of going hiking for him, something he has developed a budding interest for. Panacea Academy certainly is different to the school he used to. The campus is a lot bigger than his old school and he had yet to figure out where everything is- but that is just part of the adventure of being there for him. On his first day he was greatly disappointed that the school didn’t offer wrestling as a sport. That said- whether it is true or just one of the rumors one hears in the hallway, he has heard that a teacher at Panacea MIGHT be planning to start a wrestling team or one of the Senior students is planning to form a club dedicated to wrestling. No one can tell him if this is true, so he just trains as best he can until then....
